Every day, the YMCA of McCook works to support the people and neighborhoods that need it the most by addressing community issues. The Community Strong program provides financial assistance to people of all ages to ensure that no one is turned away from any program or activity at the YMCA. The Annual Campaign supports scholarships for membership and program participant fees in the Aquatics, Youth Development, Fitness, and Sports departments.

When you donate to the YMCA of McCook, you help provide kids and families in Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas with the programs and services they need to thrive. Individuals Seeking Assistance

Financial aid for YMCA programs and membership is available for all ages, thanks to generous support from friends of the YMCA through the Community Strong Annual Campaign. To determine your eligibility, you will need to complete the membership and financial aid application. Your award is based on your total gross annual household income and family size. You will need a copy of the prior year’s 1040 form. If you did not file taxes, you will need a 4506T letter from the IRS. The IRS can be reached at 1-800-829-1040.
