• K-1st
• 2nd-3rd
• 4th-6th

Registration: Registration will open May 1. Online registration is highly recommended to expedite the league management process and to avoid data entry errors. A current email address is required for all participants at time of registration as all league communications with coaches, parents, and volunteers will be conducted through email.

Registration Fee: Members $45; Non-members $65

Registration Deadline: August 14th. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER AUGUST 14TH.

Please register early to ensure placement. Please note that late entries will not be accepted for the following reasons: 1) Delays in team formation 2) Unbalanced team rosters 3) Team shirt order deadlines 4) Administrative deadlines

Team/Coach Requests: Please note any requests (coach, teammate, schedule) when registering. It should be noted that not all requests can be fulfilled. Refunds will not be given simply because a participant fails to participate.

Equipment Provided: Footballs, flags, and cones will be provided to coaches. Team shirts will be handed out to teams prior to their first game.

Equipment Recommended: Mouth guards are not required, but encouraged. Rubber cleats are recommended, no metal cleats allowed. Tennis shoes are allowed. Black shorts/sweatpants are recommended for games. No jewelry, wrist bands, necklaces, etc. will be allowed.

Coaches Meeting: Monday, August 24th at 6:30pm, with the place TBD.  All teams must have a Head Coach or Assistant Coach in attendance.

Practices: Practices may begin August 25th. Practices will be conducted once weekly during the season and scheduled by coaches. Practice can be held at the McCook Junior/Senior High practice fields or at PFC Gerald L. Walters Youth Sports Complex.

Games: Teams will play approximately 6 games over a 7 week period. All games will be played on Saturdays beginning September 12th. No games will be played on September 19th (Heritage Days).

Location: PFC Gerald L. Walters Youth Sports Complex

Game Day Policies:

• Please pick up & dispose of trash properly.
• Pets are NOT allowed at any games.
• Alcohol and tobacco are prohibited at all YMCA events.

Background Checks: For the safety of our members and program participants, the YMCA of McCook requires all volunteer coaches to complete and pass a background check. This process will be conducted electronically through One Source and must be completed at minimum every three years. A coach will not be allowed to participate should they have an outstanding/pending/expired/denied background screen. Additionally, any volunteer coach who fails to complete the background check process will not be allowed to coach in any YMCA organized practice or game. A link from One Source will be provided via email to the volunteer coach by the Sports Director with additional information to get the background check process completed. The cost of the Background Check will be covered by the YMCA of McCook.
