Volunteer
From board members to youth sports coaches to smiling greeters, volunteers are the heart of the Y. Becoming a volunteer allows individuals to give back and learn something about themselves in the process. After all, the Y is a nonprofit like no other! Get involved today for a better us.
All prospective volunteers must fill out an application and pass a criminal background screening prior to placement.
Potential volunteer opportunities include youth sports coaches and referees, special events help, volunteering in any of our departments (youth development, aquatics, fitness, and sports), fundraising, and anything else you may think of that can help our community! Select the area that most interests you below to volunteer, the option to choose other areas is available in the same application.
Aquatics
Teach swim lessons, guide a water aerobics class, or help with a swim team event! The possibilities are limitless in aquatics!

Fitness
Teach a class, guide youth through how to properly use the wellness floor and weight room, or help us maintain a healthy and safe environment by cleaning the fitness equipment. If you’re passionate about healthy living and wellness, we’ll find a place for you!

Fundraising

Youth Development
Volunteer with our Summer Camp or School’s Out program as a helper or guest speaker, teach special skills to youth, or help out at a Kid’s Night Out as extra supervision ensuring youth are safe, learning and growing. We are also always looking for people interested in running teen programming!
